ListenPal - Userguide

1. Search new video to learn/listen
You can search new video by 2 ways:

• On My Videos screen: tap on + icon on top/right corner.
• Or on Video Player screen: tap on Find icon on top/right corner.

Videos with subtitle-supported will be highlighted with a green background and [Subtitle] will be inserted as prefix of video title. Please see below sample image.

 

2. Player screen

Main features:

• Play: play/pause current video
• Reload: replay current section (video is divided into manys section automatically)
• Start/End looping: set start/end point of a looping (loop is a small portion in seach section)
• Subtitle: show/hide subtitle
• Vocabulary: show/hide new words in current subtitle sentence

In addition, you can:

• Tap on start/end time to change time of each section
• Tap on each word to add that word into My Words list.
• Tap on + button o top/right corner to search and add another video to your playlist (My Videos)
• Tap on down-arrow on top bar to play other videos in your playlist 

Note: While you are playing video, you can tap on start/end time label to change the length of each section.

You can tap on extracted word to add it into your word list (My Words) as below:

Your added words will be shown in My Words menu:

You can change settings in Settings screen
